NY Times Anxious for Congressional Probes to Begin

The NY Times is calling for quick action by Congress in looking into White House actions in Iraq. Claiming that the Republican Congress has "exercised virtually no oversight," the Times is urging Democrats answer Americans' right "full accounting (backed by subpoenas, if necessary) of how prewar intelligence was cooked."

As you might expect, the Times is not allowing the truth to get in the way of what they see as a grand opportunity. Protein Nation is shining the light of truth on the Times' editorial.

Reuters poll results show that while Americans are still disapproving of the White House, they are also worried about potential Congressional investigations:

Another 69 percent said they were concerned that the new Congress would keep
the administration "from doing what is necessary to combat terrorism," and two-thirds said they were concerned it would spend too much time investigating the administration and Republican scandals.

Today's NY Times editorial should be a sign of things to come.
